In these pages you’ll find information about the sport and martial art of Judo, about the club, its history and its Kyu Shin style of instruction, which relies on technique for effectiveness rather than strength.

Northbrook Kyu Shin Kai is a non profit-making organisation providing expert tuition in judo to all people regardless of age, race, gender or ability.

The club is affiliated to the British Judo Council and Judo's national governing body, the British Judo Association. It provides the opportunity for its members to compete in tournaments across the UK and abroad, including regular trips to Holland, Belgium, and France.
